[Cross Country] Six Cross Country Falcons Receive NAIA Scholar Athlete HonorPublished by
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Friends University men's and women's cross country teams have each placed three student-athletes on the 2018 NAIA Scholar Athlete list, the national office released today (Nov. 15). The Men's Cross Country Falcons' three selections are tops in the KCAC, while the Women's Cross Country Falcons are tied for first in the league with their three honorees. To qualify for this award, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum cumulative 3.5 grade-point-average and be at least a junior in academic standing. The cross country student-athletes that received this honor are listed below, grouped by sport. Men's Cross Country: Logan White (JR/Wichita, Kan.) Isaac Sprague (SR/Concordia, Kan.)
