Senior Rachel Renken was named the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference Cross Country Women's Runner of the Week after her performance at the NAIA Mid-States Classic in Winfield on Saturday.

Renken set a personal best of 18:51 in placing 33rd out of 252 runners at the meet.

The award is the first of the cross country season for the Falcons who continue to improve each week getting ready for the KCAC Championships on November 9th. The women will be looking to defend their conference title while the men look to improve to a championship after finishing 2nd last season.
