Head track and field coaches Cole Davis and Damian Smithhisler are excited to announce the addition of 14 new athletes to the 2014-15 Women's Cross Country/Track and Field roster. The list includes 11 student athletes from the state of Kansas, 1 from New Mexico, 1 from Missouri, and 1 from Texas. The women's program has won 4 of the last 5 outdoor KCAC Championship Meets and look to challenge the conference again in 2015 with these additions to an already dangerously talented roster.

Coach Davis had these remarks on the upcoming season. "The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference is getting tremendously competitive which challenges us as coaches to bring in the best of the best to help us compete for championships. We have created a standard of excellence here at Friends University and I believe we are bringing in some of the most talented athletes in the Midwest for the 2015 season. We are excited as coaches about the potential of these ladies to help us get back on top of the conference."
