WICHITA, Kan. – Friends University senior women's cross country runner Christa Follette and sophomore Nicole Ballard have each been named to the 2018 KCAC Preseason Team, the league announced today (Aug. 13).

Follette, a Grinnell, Iowa native, came in fifth overall in the KCAC Championships last season, with Ballard (Haviland, Kan.) right behind in sixth overall.

The duo's top flight finishes helped the Falcons finish third overall at the conference meet.

The Falcons, under the guidance of second-year head coach Jason Parr, will open the season on Sept. 1 at the WSU-JK Gold Classic in Augusta, Kan.
