[Cross Country] Women's Cross Country Adds Fort Hays State Tiger Open to 2015 Victory List

Comments

Victoria, Kan. – Saturday, October 10th saw the Friends University cross country teams back in action at the Fort Hays State University Tiger Open. The Sand Plum Trail course has really developed into one of the great courses in the state with majestic views and decorative additions; true cross country, but with quick times and stiff competition. This year's races saw 615 finishers and 41 teams represented. The courses were lengthened slightly to bring them to a true 5K & 8K distance. With nationally ranked competition from NCAA Div II, NAIA, & NJCAA levels that included defending national champions in the men's NAIA & NCAA Div. II levels, this was a great day of cross country.
